VA LCD (Vertical Alignment Liquid Crystal Display) is a screen panel technology that uses vertically aligned liquid crystal molecules. It offers excellent contrast and deep black levels, commonly used in TVs, curved monitors, and budget-to-mid-range PC displays.
High Contrast: Static contrast ratio usually reaches 3000:1 or higher, providing sharp distinction between light and dark areas.
Deep Blacks: Dark areas look truly black rather than gray, making it ideal for watching movies in dim lighting.
Cost-Effective: It is affordable and widely used in large, high-refresh-rate curved gaming monitors.
Slower Response Time: Slower pixel transitions can cause trailing or ghosting in fast-moving scenes, though newer "Fast VA" panels improve this.
Narrower Viewing Angles: Colors and contrast can shift or fade when looking at the screen from an angle.
